Lion's Venture Land Playground
- Final Phase
The final phase of the Lion's Ventureland playground is now completed.
A $70,000.00 playground section was added to the existing playground
by the Lion's Club with the help of several merchants and the City of Parksville.
The playground was originaly started in 1985, with different rides and slides
added every second year. Kids today have a choice of about 95 different
activities to play on. In addition, joining the Ventureland is a popular
water spray park with another 16 water features that come alive at different
intervals. The park is surrounded by rich green lawns, lots of picnic
tables and benches to sit and watch your children play.The ocean view is
just yards away, along with our sandy ocean beach. In the distance fishing
boats and ocean cruise liners can be seen sailing by.
