In 1991 another popular part of the playground was started. Mike Clark from the district 69 recreation approached Lion Merv Walker (playground chairman) and Lion Clarence Esslinger with a spray park idea.
This to be in conjunction with the existing playground project. The idea was researched and was excepted by the club, city council thought the idea was fantastic.

The playground is designed for all ages including the handicapped. The playground is well known up and down the island. Spring time school bus loads of kids from Campbell River to Victoria are seen in the parking lot.
Tourists are known to have returned on different occasions, just so the kids in their family can enjoy our playground.
